How to make:Last week I decided to try to make a new apple crisp recipe that my mom got from a friend. The recipe wasn't gluten-free, so I changed it up a little. The first time I made it we ate it all up that night, so the next time I made a double batch. I have made it for company and they seem to enjoy it. The apple crisp is really yummy with ice-cream!
First I mixed up 1/2 cup orange juice and 1/2 cup sugar. Then I cut my apples up with apple peeler/slicer kitchen tool. It takes 7 apples to make this apple crisp. I placed them in the sugar and orange juice mixture as I sliced them. Once all my apples where cut I pored them in a///// inch pan. Then I sprinkled a flour mixture on top. The mixture is: 3/4 cup flour (I used Namast gluten-free flour), 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, & dribble a little pit of olive oil on top. Then place in oven at 350 for 1 hour or until apples are easy to stick a fork through.
