My Grandpa & Grandma Earley took some friends of our family (that where visiting from New Jersey), my Aunt Allyson, Mom, & I to the Matchstick Marvels museum in Gladbrook. The museum featured spectacular structures made by Pat Acton out of wood matchsticks. So far Pat Acton has used the total of 7,238,000 matchsticks to make these amazing marvels. Here are some pictures of his work of art: The Matchstick Notre Dame CathedralThis picture is of my friend Julia from New Jersey and I. In back of us is a model of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. I would not have to patience to build ANY of those! That person is talented AND patient! Imagine if just one matchstick broke!!!
